Guacamole
Guacamole is one of the easiest things in the world to make. In reality, it’s just smashed avocados, blended with coriander, some lime juice and salt. It makes for a versatile side or condiment, and can be served as a dip, or spread over breads.
The key thing is storage and consumption. Once prepared, guacamole is best consumed when fresh, and while it will keep in the refrigerator, it will oxidise and turn brown very quickly.
This is a go-to recipe that I have up my sleeve for quick, healthy evening meals.
Ingredients
- 1 whole avocado
- Two cloves of garlic
- 1 bunch of chopped coriander
- The juice of 1 lime
