Stamping Ground Coffee is in Singapore’s Eastern Suburbs and is a home grown café with a minimalist interior decor. With a tiny kitchen, that is in full view of customers seated at the bar, you’ll be left wondering how the staff at this little coffee shop brings out some amazing food at very competitive price points.
While it is a little out of the way from central Singapore, it is worth the trip. There is a small amount of parking in the back and the front of the shop that shares a little strip mall with a few other establishments. I’ve never found this place empty which is testament to the quality of the food that they serve here.
Among the things that I have tried here are the Hawaiian pulled pork burger, the tuna melt, and the ham and beef pastrami sandwich. All of these items have never failed to hit the spot. However, it’s their coffee which is truly to write home about.
Stamping ground is a great place to have a weekend brunch with friends or a loved one. Indoor seating is shared – either at the bar, or at a couple of large tables which you’ll end up sharing with other patrons. Go there, and give their breakfast a go!
