Tandoori Chicken
This is perhaps the most well known Indian dish that there is. It is a staple at every Indian restaurant, and is very popular in Punjab and the rest of North India. It is surprisingly simple to make, especially if you have grill.
Ingredients
- 2kg of chicken thigh fillets
- 2 tablespoons of black salt
- 2 tablespoons of white pepper
- 2 tablespoons of coriander powder
- 2 tablespoons of hot curry powder
- 2 tablespoons of chilli powder
- 2 finely shredded whole heads of garlic
- 2 inches of finely shredded ginger
- 4 tablespoons of mustard oil
- 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon of tandoori food colouring powder
