360° from Namsam Tower
This is yet another long overdue video.
In October 2017, I had taken a short trip to fear east Asia. My first stop was Seoul, where I spent a fair bit of time walking through the city and taking it in. I spent an afternoon and evening at the top of Seoul’s Namsam Tower, taking in the 360° views of the city, while shooting some time-lapse footage. This is the outcome, spliced with some other footage that I shot from an evening walk at Som Sevit on the southern bank of the river.
I’ve used a slightly different workflow in this video, where I have moved from Adobe Premiere to Final Cut Pro (FXP). After my first use of FXP, I have to admit that it has a far gentler learning curve, and for the purpose of working alone speeds up my workflow immensely.
